He teaches both under and post graduate courses, like Electromagnetic Compatibility, Wireless Sensor Network, Mobile and Satellite Communications, Digital and Analog Communication Systems, and Computer-Aided Design. His current research interests are in the areas of electromagnetic compatibility, design, testing, and compliance of domestic and automotive products with emissions and immunity standards, wired and wireless communications, wireless sensor networks and general microcontroller systems and their applications. He authored or co-authored three books or book chapters, and more than 60 papers in international journals or conferences. He edited the book “Wireless Power Transfer - Fundamentals and Technologies”, 978-953-51-2467-2, published by INTECH in 2016. He has also been involved as project manager or researcher in more than 40 scientific and /or industrial research projects, public or privately funded. Currently, he is a Partner team leader for the project “Hybrid visible light communications and augmented reality platform for the development of smart driver assistance and vehicle active safety systems” PN-III-P1-1.2-PCCDI-2017-0917, for the Component Project P4 – “Characterization and improvement of the electromagnetic environment of modern vehicles, including visible and augmented reality communication systems”.
